John Cornyn, Senator from Texas, claims that Attorney General Ken Paxton has used taxpayer money to pay for secret trips with his lover.

The political dispute between both figures to fight for a seat in the Senate has brought to light some controversial passages of Paxton, whose marriage crumbled when information was leaked alleging he was having an affair with the still-wife of a millionaire car dealership.

The controversial aspect of the matter is that the attorney general was allegedly paying for pleasure trips with other people's money, where he often accompanied a 57-year-old influencer.

Based on this information, a team of Senator Cornyn's collaborators sent a request under the Texas Public Information Act to Paxton's office, requesting his records of trips and activities where he has been accompanied by Tracy Duhon, at least since March of last year.

Sources consulted by the Daily Mail newspaper, on condition of anonymity, indicate that Ken Paxton had been "traveling all over the country and even abroad" to meet with the ex-wife of Troy Duhon, owner of 39 car dealerships.

Tracy Duhon, a mother of seven children, is a writer who has been having broken into social media with great acceptance by addressing topics such as the power of prayer, by advising how to face death, and what to do in difficult times in life.

“If Paxton has used official resources to pay for any of these trips, or if the getaways conflicted with his responsibilities to the State of Texas, Texans deserve to know,” indicates the Public Information Act request requested on behalf of John Cornyn.

This is not the first time that Attorney General Ken Paxton has been involved in a scandal involving skirts, since in 2023 it was discovered that he was having a relationship with Laura Olsen, a former aide to the state Senate.

When this situation was revealed, He was eventually removed from office by the state House of Representatives, accused of abuse of power. However, his wife, at the time, decided to support him.
