The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced Monday that it will not comply with a new law enacted in California that prohibits most law enforcement officers, including federal immigration agents, from wearing masks during official operations in the state.
On social media, DHS stated categorically that it will not comply with the guidelines of the law signed last week by California Governor Gavin Newsom.
“To be clear: We will NOT comply with Gavin Newsom's unconstitutional mask ban,” DHS said in its post on X.
