Thousands of unionized nurses and other health care workers at Kaiser Permanente ended a five-day strike on Sunday, while Kaiser officials and the unions agreed to resume negotiations for a new labor contract this week.
According to Kaiser Permanente, the facility was in the process of resuming normal operations.
“We are deeply grateful to our frontline care teams, who went above and beyond to ensure continued excellent patient care last week,” the facility said in a statement released Sunday morning.
