2026 Manthey Kit: the ultimate weapon of the Porsche 911 GT3
The Porsche 911 GT3 receives a profound evolution with the new 2026 Manthey Kit, a package developed specifically to enhance its track performance
Porsche often uses the track as its natural laboratory, but few modifications have generated as much anticipation as the latest evolution of the Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3. Far from being a simple update, this package transforms the German sports car into a machine designed to squeeze every last drop of performance from the track.
The brand combined meticulous engineering, specific development, and competitive experience to achieve a more aggressive, stable, and faster GT3.
While other models in the range had already received similar treatment, this new version was created to maximize the GT3's potential without altering its engine.
Even so, the improvements are so profound that lap times show significant differences compared to its predecessor. The result is a car that retains its essence, but with far superior capabilities for those seeking pure performance. The great distinction of the 2026 Manthey Kit is that it doesn't focus on more power, but rather on the total optimization of airflow, braking capacity, and cornering behavior. In other words, each component was designed to shave tenths of a second off a lap time and offer greater control at the limit. That's why Porsche presents it as the most complete and extreme performance package it has ever offered for a production 911 GT3. A collaboration that takes aerodynamics to the extreme. Porsche and Manthey developed this package together in a joint process between the Weissach Development Center and the engineers at Meuspath. The combined experience of both teams allowed them to create a kit that surpasses even the renowned Weissach Package in terms of performance. The underside of the car was redesigned to become a cleaner aerodynamic surface, incorporating extended deflectors of up to 1.5 meters. This improves high-speed stability and contributes to generating greater overall downforce.
The front end also received significant changes. The front lip is now 12 mm longer, and new fins and deflectors have been integrated to increase front axle grip. At the rear, the iconic swan-neck wing has adopted a wider design, with oversized ends and a Gurney flap that further improves overall efficiency.
The rear diffuser incorporates longer fins that increase downforce without sacrificing flow or speed. In addition, carbon fiber wheel aerodiscs help reduce turbulence and optimize cornering performance.
More downforce, more stability, more control
The figures for the new package speak for themselves. With the Manthey Kit, the 911 GT3 generates approximately 783 pounds of downforce at around 177 mph. In track mode, that figure rises to around 1,191 pounds, resulting in noticeably superior stability and faster, more confident cornering. To complement this aerodynamic improvement, a four-way adjustable coilover suspension was developed. This setup allows for tool-free adjustment of compression and rebound damping, ideal for intensive track sessions. The front springs are now 10% stiffer, adapted to the increased load. The package delivers a firmer GT3, with greater mechanical grip and outstanding ability to brake late, attack kerbs, or hold a line through fast corners without compromising vehicle control. Lighter components and exclusive equipment. The Manthey Kit also includes optional 20- and 21-inch forged wheels, six kilograms lighter than the standard ones. Braided steel brake lines are added, as well as brake pads specifically designed for extreme use with the PCCB system. The aesthetic touches also have their own distinctive character: illuminated carbon door sills, multi-colored aerodiscs, track-ready tow straps, carbon air intakes and outlets, and LED headlights with the Manthey logo. A resounding record at the Nurburgring. To validate all these improvements, Porsche took the GT3 equipped with the Manthey Kit to the Nurburgring Nordschleife. The result was a new record for the model: 6:52.981, beating the previous 911 GT3 equipped with the same package by 2.76 seconds, a huge difference on a track as demanding as the Nurburgring Nordschleife. The new Manthey Kit for the Porsche 911 GT3 will be available from March 2026. Porsche has not yet revealed its final price, but for reference, the previous kit was offered from around $53,000 for the package alone.no installation or additional costs.
