If you have also created an account on X and given up, then there is big news for you. X owner Elon Musk is now going to sell those X accounts which are not active. Let us tell you that X was earlier called Twitter. According to the report, there are about 1.5 billion accounts on X which no one uses. For this, Handle Marketplace service has been launched. The work of selling all these accounts can be completed by the end of next month.
Till date not a single post has been shared from these accounts. Apart from this there is no login activity. Elon Musk is planning to sell all such accounts. The value of all these accounts is said to be $50,000 i.e. around Rs 41.5 lakh. Elon Musk had discussed such accounts last year. He had said that there are many such accounts which have no activity. These accounts may belong to bots or trolls.
Let us tell you that Elon Musk has launched Grok AI with xAI startup, which is X's first AI chattool. Grok is currently offered to Premium Plus users of X. Currently its beta version is being tested.
Linda Yaccarino, CEO of X, said last month that the company would become profitable by early 2024. He also said that the platform now has 200-250 million daily active users and about 1,700 advertisers have returned to the platform.
