From today onwards, your pocket is going to become loose in the midst of the ever-increasing inflation. Now you will have to pay more GST from today on the prices of packaged and labeled curd, paneer, lassi and essential items of daily use. In the meeting held last month, the GST Council has changed the GST rates on various products.
Under this, now 5 percent GST will have to be paid on the purchase of curd, lassi, paneer, honey, cereals, meat and fish. Apart from this, changes have also been made in the GST slabs of other items.

Certain items imported for Defense Forces will not attract IGST.
