A tribute to the past: the 1990 Nissan Patrol Y60
The second model Nissan will bring to SEMA 2025 is a true trip back in time. It's a 1990 Nissan Patrol Y60, rebuilt by Forsberg Racing as a tribute to the golden age of off-road rallying.
The team retained the original model's traditional colors—white, black, red, and blue—but everything else was reimagined for today's competition standards. Under the hood is a 4.8-liter Nissan TB48 inline-six engine, equipped with a turbocharger that delivers nearly 1,000 horsepower.
This impressive engine transforms the classic Patrol into a modern beast, capable of tackling any terrain.
The suspension was upgraded, and custom 17-inch Nismo Axis beadlock wheels with 35-inch Yokohama Geolandar tires were added—a combination that promises exceptional off-road performance. On the exterior, the LED lights with four six-inch round headlights stand out, while inside, Recaro Sportster seats with custom mounts were installed, along with an OMP quick-release steering wheel. The livery includes the historic Mobil 1 sponsorship, evoking the competitions that shaped the Patrol's reputation in the 1990s. The 2025 SEMA Show, taking place from November 4-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will be the perfect stage for Nissan to showcase the duality that defines its DNA: the balance between heritage and future.Inside, Recaro Sportster seats with custom mounts were installed, along with an OMP quick-release steering wheel.
