Police said that the couple fell in love while working in Mumbai and came to Delhi after protests by the families. The girl was murdered after pressuring her for marriage.

Couples often quarreled: The police further said that the couple used to quarrel often. The accused killed the girl after losing her cool. The accused told us that he tore it into pieces and threw its parts in the adjoining areas. Police have arrested the accused and further investigation is on. The two met through a dating app. Also lived in a live-in relationship in Mumbai.

Live-in partner Shraddha strangled: According to media reports quoting sources, in the month of May, the accused strangled his live-in partner Shraddha after a quarrel. Then he cut his partner's body into 35 pieces and bought a fridge to keep them. Over the next 18 days, he dumped body parts at various places around Delhi.
