Three members of a South American gang of thieves were sentenced for their participation in a $3 million robbery of a jewelry store in Ventura County.
Heidy Nickolt Trujillo, 26; Camilo Antonio Aguilar-Lara, 32; Sergio Andres Mejia-Machuca, 27; and Manuel David Ibarra, 38, all Chilean nationals, were identified by the Ventura County District Attorney's Office as the members of the gang. Prosecutors said Ibarra and Aguilar-Lara were each sentenced to four years and four months, while Trujillo received a four-year prison term.
