Lifestyle blogger and her husband found lifeless in mobile home in Florida: investigating possible homicide-suicide
The authorities handle as their main hypothesis a homicide-suicide, while relatives express disbelief at what happened
A couple was found dead inside their mobile home at the Ocean Pond Campground, in the town of Olustee, in Florida, after an alert from neighbors concerned about the lack of contact.
The victims were identified as Anissa Osborne, 56 years old, and her husband Christopher Osborne, 51. Both presented fatal gunshot wounds, according to preliminary reports from authorities obtained by News 4 Jax.
Main hypothesis: homicide-suicide
Investigators consider as the main line of investigation a homicide-suicide, in which the man would have shot at his wife before killing himself.
The case is attended by the county sheriff's office, along with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the coroner's office, who continue to gather evidence to clarify what happened.
The couple had approximately 15 years of marriage and resided in a mobile home, a lifestyle that Anissa actively shared on social networks. In their publications, both showed a close relationship, with affective messages and everyday scenes in the camp where they worked as hosts.
Relatives and acquaintances described Anissa as a “joyful” and “spontaneous” person, while those close to Christopher pointed out that he used to express publicly his love for his wife.
Relatives question the official version
Despite the authorities' hypothesis, members of the family have expressed their difficulty in accepting that possibility. Some relatives stated that the relationship seemed stable and that there were no obvious signs of conflict.
“They were a very loved couple,” said a family member, who qualified the fact as “deeply tragic” and difficult to understand.
The case remains underinvestigation while the circumstances surrounding the deaths are analyzed. Authorities haven't released additional details about possible backgrounds or factors that could have influenced the outcome.
