On her Instagram account, Katy Perry shared images from her trip to Australia in which she is seen enjoying the local scenery, sailing, smiling with a quokka, a typical animal of the region, and preparing for her concerts.

This week it was confirmed that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom had ended their relationship after almost nine years together.

A couple of weeks ago, a wave of rumors surfaced that the couple was going through a crisis in their relationship that could lead to a permanent separation.

According to Page Six, sources close to the couple said that Perry and Bloom wanted to wait until the singer's world tour, Lifetimes, was over to announce their split, but the news came early.

Apparently, the singer is willing to maintain a positive co-parenting relationship with the actor. Katy has every intention of maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with Orlando, the source told People. He's the father of her daughter, and that will always come first for her.

Although Katy is upset, she's relieved not to have to go through another divorce. The now-exiled couple has been living apart since the singer began her tour, and distance and personal differences, including tensions related to Perry's recent space trip, contributed to the split.
