The case of horse-trading of BRS MLAs is gaining momentum in Telangana. Now the investigation of this matter has been handed over to the CBI by the High Court. Giving information about this, BJP leader and lawyer Advocate Ram Chandra Rao has welcomed the decision of the High Court. 

BJP leader and advocate Ram Chandra Rao told that the High Court has transferred the case of horse-trading of BRS MLAs to the CBI. Not only this, the Telangana High Court has also canceled the SIT constituted to investigate the matter.

Based on the complaint of one of the BRS MLAs, P Rohit Reddy, on the night of 26th October, Ramchandra Bharti alias Satish Sharma, Nand Kumar and Simhaji Swamy were booked under relevant sections- criminal conspiracy, offer of bribe and Prevention of Corruption Act, The cases were registered under the provisions of 1988. According to the FIR, Rohit Reddy alleged that the accused offered him Rs 100 crore. In return, he had put a condition that he would have to leave TRS and join BJP. 

Four BRS MLAs Pilot Rohit Reddy, B Harshavardhan Reddy, Rega Kantha Rao and Guvwala Balraju have complained of receiving threat calls from unknown persons. He has been asked over phone to leave BRS and join BJP. Allegedly the inducement of money was also given. Cases under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code have been registered at Raidurgam, Banjara Hills, Ghatkesar and Gachibowli police stations following a complaint by the MLAs.

Three accused were arrested in the case of horse-trading of MLAs. On the night of October 26, based on the complaint of one of the BRS MLAs, Pilot Rohit Reddy, three accused- Ramchandra Bharti, Kore Nand Kumar and Simhayaji Swamy were arrested. Cases were registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Prevention of Corruption Act. MLAs of KCR's party had alleged that an attempt was made to bribe us to switch sides.
