Chintan Shivir in Haryana: The meeting of the Home Ministers of the states with Union Home Minister Amit Shah is going on in Surajkund, Haryana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also participated in this meeting through virtual medium. Here he also addressed all the Home Ministers. He also said that this 'Amrit Peeth' will be created by imbibing the resolutions of 'Panch Pran' - building a developed India, freedom from all colonial mindset, pride in heritage, unity and most importantly, civic duty. He said that law and order is no longer limited to one state. Crime is happening interstate and internationally. With technology, criminals now have the power to commit crimes in the states. Criminals are misusing technology beyond limits. Coordination between agencies of all states and coordination between central and state agencies is essential.

Referring to the Corona period, he said that the reputation of the police improved during that time. They were helping the needy, arranging essentials, risking their lives. There was no lack of dutifulness in them. The need is to maintain a good impression. For this, the police force should be motivated, planned and guided. Be it cyber crime or the use of drone technology for smuggling weapons or drugs, we have to keep working on new technology for them.
