Telangana: Amid Hyderabad's 'Liberation' Day celebrations, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Gosula Srinivas on Saturday alleged that his car was vandalized by workers and supporters of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The TRS leader said that he had parked his car in front of Shah's convoy, but was vandalized by his workers and supporters and forced to shift his car.

According to the information received from the sources, while talking to the media, he said that his car stopped like this. Many workers and supporters came together there due to which they got tensed. He further said that with this he will talk to the police officer regarding the matter. At the same time, he said that this tension is unnecessary. I myself will go and talk. The BJP has not yet responded to this allegation.

Addressing a massive rally at Parade Ground on what the BJP has called Hyderabad Liberation Day, Amit Shah said it was a "historic day" for the city. He also paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was the Union Home Minister in 1948, when Hyderabad was liberated from Nizam rule and incorporated into the Union of India. "Had it not been for Sardar Patel, it would have taken more years for Hyderabad to become independent," Shah said in the meeting.

Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is organizing parallel celebrations across Hyderabad on 'Telangana National Integration Day' to mark 75 years of the city's joining the Indian Union.
