In a proactive move to reinforce water sustainability and environmental protection, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chaired an intensive strategy session with top officials from the Namami Gange initiative and the Rural Water Supply Department in Lucknow.
During the high-level meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized the state’s unwavering commitment to ensuring clean and safe drinking water reaches every rural household, while simultaneously preserving the sacred Ganga River through robust and accountable initiatives.
“This is not just about water; it’s about life, dignity, and our cultural identity,” the Chief Minister asserted with conviction. He further added that collaboration, transparency, and on-ground efficiency will be the cornerstones of success for both Namami Gange and rural water projects.
Officials presented progress reports and discussed future frameworks that align with both state and national environmental missions. Special focus was given to accelerating pipeline connections, improving water testing infrastructure, and promoting community awareness across rural Uttar Pradesh.
