In March, when the 54-year-old Republican was still part of the presidential cabinet, several images were leaked on social networks showing her still husband Bryon Noem assuming the personality of a woman wearing a tight T-shirt, large fake breasts and tight leggings as if he were a transvestite.

Said material had been obtained while chatting through a computer with an actress linked to porn films.

The most surprising thing arose later, when it emerged that the 56-year-old man had repeated this practice on several occasions and allegedly with three women whom he used to contact behind the back of the head of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Ultimately, this information ended up undermining the trust placed by President Donald Trump in the former governor of South Dakota to add her to his team of collaborators and in a matter of days she was removed from her position.

From that moment on, Noem asked to respect her privacy; while a version gained strength suggesting that Bryon Noem would undergo therapy to overcome her split personality problem, as she intended to avoid the end of her marriage.

However, during an interview with the Daily Mail newspaper, Corinne Arnold, Kristi Noem's mother, corroborated what was already an open secret.

“It has been difficult, but we knew that this was going to happen, that they were going to get divorced,” he said from his home, located next to the ranch where the couple lived and raised their three children.

In fact, the 77-year-old woman said she learned of the position her daughter would take through a conversation with her at the birthday party of one of her grandchildren.

"Finally, I asked her, 'What's wrong? Are you guys getting back together?' And she said, 'No. No. We're getting divorced.'

"I feel bad, it makes me sick that they are divorcing, but what else can be done?" he expressed.

It should be noted that Kristi Noem also began to be singled out by some media outlets for allegedly having an extramarital relationship with her advisor Corey Lewandowski, but she flatly denied it.
