Milwaukee police rescued six children, including a two-month-old, who were locked inside a storage unit. A 26-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man were arrested and face charges in the case.
The Milwaukee Police Department reported that the operation was carried out early Tuesday morning, around 1:36 a.m., after receiving reports of children trapped in a storage facility.
At first, officers believed there were only two children, but when they opened the unit they found six children between two months and nine years old.
Rescue without injuries
Firefighters had to force their way into the warehouse to free the children.
Authorities confirmed that none of the children were injured, although no details have been given about their general health or whether they will receive specialized medical attention.

To me, this sounds like a cry for help; maybe they just needed help and didn’t know how to get it,” one resident told WISN.
