Two oil tanks caught fire on Thursday, December 25, 2025, in the port of the Russian city of Temryuk, in the southern Krasnodar region. According to local authorities, the fire was triggered by a drone attack from Ukraine, carried out overnight. It appears there are no fatalities. The fire initially spread to an area of ??about 2,000 square meters, but hours later it doubled to 4,000 square meters. The Telegram channel 'Operativni Shtab -Krasnodar' reports that a fire brigade was on the scene. "In total, 99 firefighters and 26 specialized vehicles," including personnel from the local Ministry of Emergency Situations, the source adds. Local authorities also indicated that "a hydrocarbon spill into Temriuk Bay was prevented." In addition to the burning tanks, several buildings and agricultural equipment were damaged in the town of Nikolaevka, in the Sherbinski district.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Thursday the interception and downing of 141 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones. The bulk of the attacks affected the border region of Bryansk, where 62 drones were neutralized.
The regions of Tula, Kaluga, Moscow, Volgograd, Voronezh, the Adygea republic, and the annexed Crimean Peninsula were also attacked. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported overnight that 10 drones heading toward the Russian capital had been shot down, with no reported damage or casualties.
