What is World Kindness Day?
This friendly day is celebrated every November 13th with a simple but powerful purpose: to inspire gestures of empathy and generosity around the world.
It was created in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement (WKM), an international network that promotes actions that improve coexistence and strengthen human bonds, highlights Diario Las Americas.
It's not just about grand deeds, but about small, everyday acts, like helping, smiling, and sharing, that can transform someone's day. Every year, schools, businesses, and communities join this initiative that reminds us that being kind costs nothing, but changes everything.
