Drunk Hispanic man hits and kills two pedestrians in North Hollywood

A Hispanic man, allegedly driving under the influence, struck and killed two pedestrians and injured three others early Sunday morning in North Hollywood.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) identified Vidal Cruz Jr., 32, a resident of Pacoima, was charged with the fatal hit-and-run after allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) and speeding at the time of the incident. According to the LAPD Valley Traffic Division, after Cruz Jr. struck two pedestrians on a North Hollywood street, he crashed his gray Acura into several parked vehicles and a residential property.
