Delhi Rainfall: Rain wreaks havoc in Delhi, many parts including the dome of Jama Masjid damaged

Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds lashed New Delhi on Monday, due to which there was power outage at many places. Due to the change in the weather, the people of Delhi, troubled by the scorching heat and scorching heat for several days, got some relief. Clouds roared with rain and strong winds gusted up to 50 kilometers per hour. Some part of the dome located in the middle of Jama Masjid was damaged due to strong winds. Earlier, the minimum temperature in the national capital on Monday morning was recorded at 27.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal. The India Meteorological Department had predicted cloudy sky in the city during the day. According to the department, the humidity level in the air was recorded at 63 percent at 8.30 am. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 41 degree Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.7 degrees Celsius in some parts of the city after light rain on Sunday evening.

Jama Masjid dome damaged

Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds lashed various parts of the national capital today, due to which trees were uprooted and fell on the ground at many places. At the same time, some part of the dome located in the middle of Jama Masjid was damaged due to heavy rain and storm. The Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Syed Ahmed Bukhari, said that due to heavy rain and storm, some part of the dome located in the middle of Jama Masjid was damaged, there are 2-3 pieces which have fallen on the ground. If it is not removed immediately, it will damage the wall in front of it and the entire dome in between.

Weather likely to change in these states

The weather is also likely to change in some areas of the states around Delhi like Haryana, UP and Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has also given light in Rohtak, Bhiwani, Charkhi, Dadri, Matanhel, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Kosli, Sohana, Rewari, Palwal, Bawal, Nuh, Aurangabad, Hodal (Haryana), Sikandar Rao, Hathras (UP), Bhiwadi (Rajasthan). There is a possibility of rain and strong winds with moderate intensity and thunder.
