Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds lashed New Delhi on Monday, due to which there was power outage at many places. Due to the change in the weather, the people of Delhi, troubled by the scorching heat and scorching heat for several days, got some relief. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 41 degree Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.7 degrees Celsius in some parts of the city after light rain on Sunday evening.
Jama Masjid dome damaged

At the same time, some part of the dome located in the middle of Jama Masjid was damaged due to heavy rain and storm. The Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Syed Ahmed Bukhari, said that due to heavy rain and storm, some part of the dome located in the middle of Jama Masjid was damaged, there are 2-3 pieces which have fallen on the ground. If it is not removed immediately, it will damage the wall in front of it and the entire dome in between.

The Meteorological Department has also given light in Rohtak, Bhiwani, Charkhi, Dadri, Matanhel, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Kosli, Sohana, Rewari, Palwal, Bawal, Nuh, Aurangabad, Hodal (Haryana), Sikandar Rao, Hathras (UP), Bhiwadi (Rajasthan). There is a possibility of rain and strong winds with moderate intensity and thunder.
