IRCTC Scam Update: In the IRCTC scam case of Railways, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has been produced in the special CBI court in Delhi today. On the application of CBI, the court had asked Tejashwi Yadav to appear on October 18 and present his side. Tejashwi Yadav is accused in this scam and is currently out on bail. Tejashwi Yadav, who left from Patna on Monday, appeared in the special CBI court in Delhi on Tuesday and presented his side.
CBI has applied in the court to cancel the bail of Tejashwi Yadav. Tejashwi is accused of threatening CBI officials to influence the investigation of serious corruption charges against him. The CBI has told in the court that apart from the public meeting, Tejashwi Yadav also tried to stop the legal action by holding a press conference.
On the other hand, Tejashwi Yadav presented his side by appearing in the court on Tuesday. On the allegations of CBI, he said that he is in the opposition and it is his duty to question the wrongdoings of the government. Tejashwi said that CBI and ED are being misused by the present government and all the opposition parties feel the same.
