Participating in the program 'Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar' at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chatra, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that improving the education system in Jharkhand is the priority of the government. Model schools will be opened in the state on the lines of private schools where quality education will be provided to the children. Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana has been started for the poor girls of the state on the occasion of International Girl Child Day. Nine lakh girls of the state have to be connected with this scheme. In which one lakh girls have been added so far.
Under Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, adolescent girls will get 40 thousand rupees
CM Hemant said that under the said scheme, 40 thousand rupees will be given to the girls. 2500-2500 rupees will be given in class eight and nine, 5000-5000 rupees in class 10th, 11th and 12th and 20 thousand in one lump sum on attaining 18 years. In this way, under this scheme, girls will get 40 thousand rupees together on completion of 18 years. Said that 35 lakh students will be given scholarship under pre and post matric scholarship.
50 thousand teachers will soon be reinstated in Jharkhand
He said that 50 thousand teachers will be restored soon for quality education in government schools. Said that the hostel run by the Welfare Department would be renovated. Along with this, cooks will be restored to feed the children living in the hostel. Taking a dig at the previous government, he said that no care was taken for the poor, exploited, dalit and backward. Instead of giving ration, his ration card was removed. The poor kept dying of hunger. Said that not a single person died of hunger during the tenure of our government. CM said that by bringing Sarvajan Pension, happiness has been brought back on the faces of all the poor. It is the first state in the country to implement Sarvajan Pension. During the Corona period, the laborers were brought home safely from the country and abroad and also fed them. Worked well with limited resources. Not a single person died of hunger during the Corona period. Said that a year ago the government had brought the program to your door. In which six thousand camps were organized. 35-40 lakh applications came. All were executed. The people of remote areas got the benefit of this scheme. So this year the plan has been brought. Operation of five schemes under MNREGA in every village
CM Hemant Soren said from the situation of drought that the government is dealing with this problem. In order that the people of the village should not remain unemployed, five schemes are being operated in each of the villages under MNREGA. Our government is making plans keeping in mind the interest of every class and section.
Foundation stone of 109 schemes worth 218 crores laid and inaugurated
On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren laid the foundation stone of 67 schemes worth 186 crores and inaugurated 42 schemes worth 32 crores. In this way, CM laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 109 schemes worth 218 crores. During this, assets were also distributed among the beneficiaries in the program.
