Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet MPs of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) from July 31. The issue of Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024 will be discussed in these meetings which will continue till August 10.
BJP leaders have formed 10 groups of NDA MPs for meeting with the Prime Minister. Party sources said that in the first meeting, the Prime Minister will hold discussions with MPs from western Uttar Pradesh, Bundelkhand and Braj regions. The meeting of these MPs with the Prime Minister will be held at Maharashtra Sadan at 6 pm on Monday. BJP President JP Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah will also be present in the meeting.
Important responsibility on Gadkari, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh
Sources said that the second meeting of the Prime Minister with the NDA MPs from West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha will be held at 7 pm in the Parliament House Annexe. Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah will be present in this meeting. Sources also said that the responsibility of coordinating with NDA leaders has been entrusted to BJP President Nadda as well as Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh.
UP is most important for BJP
Uttar Pradesh is of utmost importance for the BJP because of the maximum number of Lok Sabha seats. The BJP, which is preparing for Mission 80, wants to maintain its lead by winning all the seats from here. But with the coming together of Subhaspa, Apna Dal (S) and Nishad Party, it will be mandatory for them to share seats. Some new regional parties may also become a part of it soon. In such a situation, the problems of the party may increase due to the coordination of seats. This tension came to the surface in the last Lok Sabha elections itself, when Apna Dal increased the BJP's problem by claiming more seats.
Controversy in the Northeast as well
In the Northeast, the BJP has tried to show the strength of its allies by bringing together several small parties. But his move has got him in trouble. There are a total of 26 seats in the Northeast. To give participation to all these parties, even if they are given at least one seat, then the number of seats in BJP's own account will be greatly reduced.
