The game of back and forth between the government and the opposition is going on continuously in the Parliament regarding the Manipur issue. Meanwhile, Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani was also seen angrily targeting the opposition. In fact, during the Question Hour on Wednesday, Congress MP Ami Yagnik asked Smriti Irani when she and her cabinet colleague would speak on the issue of Manipur. On which the Union Minister got enraged and she fiercely attacked the opposition. He alleged that the Congress was hiding the facts of Manipur violence. Apart from this, made a big allegation on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He said that Rahul set Manipur on fire.

Furious over Ami Yagnik's question, Union Minister Smriti Irani said that she strongly objects to this. The Union Minister further said that not only women ministers but women political leaders should also focus on the happenings in Manipur as well as Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Bihar. He questioned whether she (Ami Yagnik) has the wherewithal to speak on the incidents of atrocities on women in these states?

Smriti Irani bombarded the opposition with questions. He said that when will you have the courage to discuss Chhattisgarh? When will you have the courage to discuss what is happening in Bihar? When will we have the courage to tell how women are raped in Congress ruled states? Not only this, the minister said that when will you have the courage to tell how Rahul Gandhi set Manipur on fire? The minister also gave advice to the Congress MP. He said that if she cannot speak on these incidents then she should not doubt the women ministers of the cabinet.

He further said that Hindu hatred is nothing new for Mr. Gandhi dynasty, but now openly threatening Hindus...this is a new low. Let us tell you that this attack of Smriti Irani came after a case was registered against the Muslim Youth League members in Kerala for raising provocative slogans at a rally in Manipur.

Significantly, this is the first session of Parliament where Rahul Gandhi is not present as he was disqualified from the previous session following his conviction in the Modi surname case.
