The Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abbas Araqchí, claimed this Sunday in Iraq that his country is solely responsible for traffic in the Strait of Hormuz returning to the levels prior to the war that began at the end of February and warned that any other intervention "will delay the reopening."
"According to the memorandum of understanding, the Strait of Hormuz is under the administration of Iran and, after thirty days, operations will return to normal as before. The responsibility for these matters lies with the Iranian side and no other country has any responsibility," he said in an appearance alongside his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein.

The president of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, considered the new attacks launched this Sunday by Iran against Kuwait and Bahrain "are part of an effort to undermine all regional and international efforts and efforts aimed at stopping the war and containing tensions."
According to the president, this “requires urgent action by the guarantors of the US-Iranian memorandum of understanding and the international community to end these attacks and prevent the region from sliding into further escalation.”
