The Mega Millions lottery had no winner for the top prize in Tuesday's drawing, but it made the owner of a ticket sold in California a millionaire.
In a press release, the California Lottery reported that a ticket matched five of the six numbers drawn and became a winner for a prize of $2,263,479.
The ticket was purchased at Miss Q's Convenience, at 638 Washington Street, in Chinatown, San Francisco.
