The Mexican actress Camila Sodi decided to share a deep look at the process she experienced last June, when she had to undergo a hysterectomy, a surgery that is based on the removal of the uterus.
Through her social networks, the protagonist of stories like “Camino a Marte” and “Niñas Mal” shared some details about the surgical procedure and the recovery stage she experienced in recent weeks.
According to his testimony, the detection of a benign mass was what led to timely mobilization and treatment to avoid future complications.
“I had a fibroid, which is a tumor, and it had grown the size of a grapefruit, because there was no other option,” he explained through his official Instagram account.
Once the root of his physical discomfort was identified, he admitted that the decision was simple, although full of fear: “When it's your turn, it's your turn (…) It is better not to have more pain and tumors inside us,” he added.

Another of the topics that the actor addressed during her talk was the recovery process that she is still going through. And according to medical recommendation, you must remain in absolute rest for six weeks.
"The first two weeks are tough, you're literally surviving. You have to give your body a chance to deflate," commented the small screen star.
Although today everything is taken calmly, there was a moment when the wait was uncontrollable: “We are desperate, but the body takes time and everything has to settle inside,” he noted.
Meanwhile, Camila Sodi uses her recovery time to rediscover activities that she enjoys and those that her busy schedule does not allow her to do constantly: “I love watching series and movies… reading,” she commented in conclusion.
