The city of Los Angeles has filed a motion to join a federal lawsuit challenging immigration agency raids taking place in the region, Mayor Karen Bass announced Tuesday afternoon.
The lawsuit asks the court to block the Trump administration from carrying out what the plaintiffs call "unconstitutional raids."
It also calls on the federal government to halt agents' operations against immigrants without probable cause.
